Horses we’ve sold

Well, we’ll only go back to the beginning of this year I guess……. We’ve bought two very nice fillies at the Cutting Horse Futurity Sales in Fort Worth last year. “Gucci” and “Smarty” -

Gucci is a Mylanta Lena filly we have sold to Patsy Walsh of Oregon. Last we hear was that she truly enjoyed the mare and just absolutely loves her. How nice it is to hear that they found the ‘perfect’ home… oh speaking of ‘perfect’ … I know if Kathie reads that post, she’ll probably will have to post something about HER perfect BAY GELDING she bought from us a couple of years ago “TEX”… and believe me… she lets EVERYBODY know that HER BAY GELDING is PERFECT ;-) … here’s is “Gucci” – I hope that maybe I’ll get a current picture with her new owner Patsy

Then here is “Smarty” – she’s a Smart Lil Scoot. Or we also nicknamed her Crotch-Rocket. She’s got quite a bit of a motor, but is real athletic, powerful and quick  and quoting her new owner Antonio:”I’ve never had that much fun on a horse till I got Smarty”. Maybe will get a current picture of her and Antonio at our upcoming Pat Wyse clinic in November

We’ve also sold our dear mare “Sue” – a Peppy San Badger Cutting mare. Sadly though she has passed away – cause of death has been undetermined, however it was suspected that she suffered a stroke. We fondly think of her, as she was one hell of a nice mare. I am sorry that her new owners never had the chance to know her as well as I did!

… then of course there is CLIFF. He was quite a special horse to us. And he found a nice home in Chicago. We got to visit him when they hauled him down for the HITS circuit this winter. He was phenomenal! When he came back to Chicago to rest, he was kicked out in the pasture and it fractured his leg. He had to be put down immediately. What a loss!
