Well, Vreni flew in at the same day when we expected Franz and Myrtha to arrive. And sure enough they came shortly after Vreni and I got home from the airport! We only had a short evening to visit and the next day we all spread out to do different things. Vreni just adjusted to the time change and the brand new feeling of having a few days off, while Franz and Myrtha took off shopping and Patrick ran other errands. In the evening we gathered for a great meal all together and had a good time

digging in....

yes, that's really me in the kitchen...
here to visit… Wow – we haven’t seen them in forever! We had a great time – I know, I already talked about it in my earlier entry about our time with them, so I won’t repeat myself, but post a few more pictures. Then we move on to the next company – again from Switzerland!

Wow – it feels strange to not have company around! Really it does. We miss everybody greatly, we sure wished, we’d have more time for each individual company – we were so packed at times that we didn’t get to visit with each and everyone as much and as thorough as we would have wanted to…. but hopefully there will be NEXT TIME! So… now we are on a major diet
cause we just ate and drank too much …. now we have to loose those added pounds again before we expect our next spout of visitors – from Switzerland again… Patrick’s sister and her family will be here to visit! But for now I try to do some catching up with pictures etc, so you know what we did with our company and what we were up to while it was quiet on the blog!
Well, my god-son and his family have come to visit… well actually I went to go get him in Punta Gorda last week. That gave me a chance to see my parents and my brother as well. We had a great time! Even though it rained half the time, we certainly enjoyed catching up on old time and had a wonderful time, going out to dinner at the Outback ALL together! How special is that. We left Philipps Parents to stay with my folks for a few more days and Philipp and I went ahead, back to Anthony. We had a busy schedule, which was easier done due to the weather. It was either raining or then it got pretty cold, so it wasn’t hard to say “let’s leave the horses out on the pasture and do something else” – so we had quality time together, even though it was way too short. We came home from Punta Gorda last Friday night and were invited with Bonnie and Rick for Movie night. How cool is that? Big screen movie and Pizza dinner? Hard to beat, eh? Saturday we went all together to the tractor pull. It was coooooooold, I cannot even count the layers I had on…. and thank goodness to the earplugs! But we all had a good time. Then Sunday… well that was SUPER BOWL PARTY. Bonnie and Rick outdid themselves again and we had too much to eat and surely plenty to drink. But was a great time we had watching a great game of football … Monday we had another great visit on our calender. Too bad it rained AGAIN…. Doreen and Karen came to visit from Montana….. at least it wasn’t cold, so Florida didn’t quite show themselves from its worst side, but it rained and rained and rained…. after a short visit and a lunch, the girls went back on the road and ten minutes later, Philipps parents pulled in. They only got to stay for a few days, but it surely was memorable. We spend Tuesday cruising around Marion County and showing them our new place we call home. Too bad they had to leave Wednesday already …. so after a great breakfast at the Saddle Rack, we had to say good bye…. as much fun it is to see everyone after such a long time – the good bye’s I could live without!!!! They will soon fly home to Switzerland and hopefull we’ll get to visit soon again! So yesterday and today it was miserably cold. Patrick went to Orlando to a workshop and I did chores at home … but only what I had to do. Even our Canadian Friends admited that it was on the cool side
… I think they were they only ones in Marion County that were working outside! They were working hard to put tarps on the roundpen, so we can have cows soon…. but more on that and pictures about the round pen in another post. Here are some pictures from Philipps visit….
